Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28/09/2026

1Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the EduSmart Kids mobile application (the “App”). The App is published on Google Play under the developer name EDUPIA CORP and is owned and operated by EDUCA CORPORATION LIMITED COMPANY, a company registered in Vietnam (“EduSmart Kids”, “we”, “us”).

This policy explains what personal data we collect through the App, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection No. 91/2025/QH15, Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP, and other applicable laws of Vietnam.

2Data we collect

  • From parents or guardians: full name, phone number, email address, residential address, and payment information when purchasing a course. Payment information is processed by our payment partners. We do not store full card details.
  • About students: the child’s name, age or grade level, and learning activity on the platform, such as lessons completed, test results and progress reports.
  • Collected automatically: device type, browser, IP address, app usage and cookies. We use these to keep the service working and to improve it.

3Children’s data

EduSmart Kids is designed for children, so we treat their data with extra care.

  • A student account must be created by, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian.
  • We collect only the student data needed to deliver and personalise learning.
  • We do not use children’s data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.
  • Parents may view, correct or request deletion of their child’s data at any time (see Section 8).

4How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • create and manage accounts and deliver the courses you register for;
  • track learning progress and share reports with parents;
  • contact you about your account, schedules, support requests and service updates;
  • send news, offers and promotions, only where you have agreed (you can opt out at any time);
  • run surveys to improve our programmes;
  • detect fraud, impersonation and misuse of accounts;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We will not use your data for purposes other than those listed without asking for your consent first.

5Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only:

  • with service providers who help us run EduSmart Kids, such as hosting, payments, messaging and analytics. They may use the data only on our instructions and must protect it;
  • with competent authorities when required by law;
  • in a merger, acquisition or asset transfer, in which case we will notify you in advance by email or on our website.

6Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the App and for the purposes set out in this policy. When you close your account, withdraw your consent or request deletion, we delete or anonymise your data. The exception is data we are required to keep by law, for example for accounting or dispute resolution. That data is kept only for the period the law requires.

7How we protect your data

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. These include encrypted connections, access controls and restricted staff access. If a data breach occurs that may affect you, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected users within the timeframe required by law, and take prompt steps to limit the impact.

8Your rights

You, or a parent or guardian on behalf of a child, have the right to:

  • know what personal data we hold and how it is used;
  • access and receive a copy of your data;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • withdraw consent or opt out of marketing at any time;
  • request deletion of your data or restriction of its processing;
  • object to certain types of processing;
  • file a complaint with us or with the competent authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within 10 working days.

9Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on our website or by email before they take effect.
